I built this alone, with AI assistance. It took months. I'm proud of it, and I want to be straight with you about what it is.
What it is
Project Radeleyn is a text-based dark fantasy RPG where the Game Master role is played by a language model — but not just a chat prompt. Under the hood is a custom-built C# engine (written with AI assistance) that manages your manor's economy, population, construction, diplomacy, and a faction system that watches how you play and responds accordingly. The AI only knows what the engine allows it to know.
You start with a ruined manor in a decaying kingdom. Nobody cares about you — yet. What happens next depends entirely on how you play. Build, fight, scheme, trade, hide. The world notices. Eventually, it answers.
The game can be completed without a single save/load. When the final act begins — save often. Trust me on this one.

Also supports any OpenAI-compatible API (OpenRouter, etc.) — though I can't personally test every model, I simply can't afford every provider
No server. No account. Your save file lives on your machine. Nobody sees your playthrough except you (and whatever API you connect)

Honest disclosures
This is a one-person project. Bugs exist. I've playtested almost every version myself and it's playable — but it is not a polished studio release, and I won't pretend otherwise.
The AI Game Master operates on designed logic, but it is still an AI. A determined player can break that logic if they try. The game is built around honest play — if you bypass the systems, you're only cheating yourself.
A note on AI-generated art
Portraits in this game are AI-generated images sourced from publicly tagged AI content, with additional regeneration on my end. I don't have the resources to run my own image generation setup, so this was the practical solution.
If you recognize your work — please reach out. I'll replace or remove the portrait promptly. No argument, no delay.
All character names and likenesses are fictional. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.
